McCormick & Co., Inc., a world leader in the spice, flavor & seasonings industry, is seeking a full time Account Manager II Flavor Sales. The Account Manager II - Flavor Sales will report to a Sales Director.
This new hire will work for McCormicks US Flavor Solutions Team in a home office with ability to travel to clients.

Position Overview
Secure growth opportunities, actively solicit and manage fully qualified product development projects, seek out and qualify new ingredient opportunities. Communicate effectively and efficiently with key contacts at all assigned accounts, promote and facilitate communications and relationship building between McCormick contacts and their counterparts within appropriate functional groups. Build relationships within the Purchasing, Development, Quality and Marketing organizations within each account, manage annual product and pricing reviews and maximize profitability at each account, and work continuously to increase the efficiency and the effectiveness of every interaction between McCormick and all assigned accounts.

Responsibilities
Develops with sales leadership strategic and tactical business plans for Critical accounts which may require support across McCormick business groups and may include international business units
Establish in-depth working relationships and manage activities at all levels within Purchasing, Supply Chain, Marketing, Technical, and Operations
Prioritize projects within account and independently manage project activity across all product lines
Independently implement and develop measures for success against business plan and report progress to customer and McCormick management
Actively sell the value of the USIG Brand Pyramid and facilitate business to business relationships across functions
With Sales management involvement, develops customer pricing strategy to maximize business and profits
Be viewed as a critical contact for McCormick and drive customer penetration through innovation and proactive customer intimacy. Promote the Company's image, with special emphasis on confidence, confidentiality, and professionalism

Qualifications
BA in Business/Technical/Supply Chain or related discipline
Acceptable driving record including valid driver's license required
3- 5 years food industry sales experience or sales experience in an adjacent industry with a similar selling environment
Working knowledge of technical aspects of products, i.e. nomenclature, applicability within customer's manufacturing process, substitution choices, new discoveries, etc.
Developed and demonstratable critical thinking skills and business acumen
Highly developed written and verbal communications skills that are clear, concise, and appropriate in timing and directed to appropriate levels.
